I'm Kylie — founder of Higher Love Event Co. I've spent more than half a decade planning, designing, and coordinating weddings and large-scale events, and I can't imagine doing anything else.

I'm not the kind of planner who tells you what you can't do. I'm the kind who figures out how to make it happen — efficiently, transparently, and without padding your invoice with services you don't actually need.

Most planners hand you a package and tell you to fit into it. That's not how I work. Every couple starts with Essential Coordination — expert wedding management beginning 6 weeks before your big day — and builds from there. You tell me where you need support, and that's exactly what you get. Nothing more, nothing less. Because your wedding is yours. It shouldn't look like everyone else's, and your planning experience shouldn't either.

Want to skip the plated dinner and throw your reception at a food cart pod where every guest orders their own meal on your tab? Done it. Want a 200-person wedding in a location with zero venue infrastructure? Done that too. Want to DIY your florals? I'll build you a step-by-step plan — shopping list, floral recipes, prep instructions included. Want to hire your favorite restaurant to cater? Let's do it — I'll source the seasoned serving staff to make it work seamlessly. Whatever your vision, if someone else has told you “you can't do that” — you can. And I'll find a way.

My experience spans every corner of the event industry — from intimate weddings to large-scale corporate productions with hundreds of guests and complex themes. I've seen what can go wrong, I know how to prevent it, and on the rare occasion something does — you'll never know it happened.

I'm rooted in St. Johns, Portland — but I've had the privilege of coordinating weddings everywhere from the jungles of Tulum to the Utah desert. My favorite weddings are here at home in Portland and in the Columbia River Gorge, and I've worked at nearly 20 venues across the region.

Your wedding day should not be overwhelming because of logistics. It should be overwhelming because of how loved you feel. That's what I'm here for.
