What to expect

From booking to wedding day.

Fixed touchpoints, defined deliverables, and a clear line of communication throughout. Here is what the planning journey looks like when you work with Higher Love.

What I need from you to begin

A loose budget

Not a final number, just a range you are comfortable with. My wedding budget guide shows what a realistic budget looks like in the Pacific Northwest right now.

An estimated guest count

A rough list is enough to start. Guest count sets the size of venue you need, and the venue shapes nearly everything after it.

A date range

A season or a specific window is enough to start. Knowing which dates will not work is just as useful as knowing which ones will.

At booking

Reserve your package

Deposit paid, agreement signed. Once your agreement is signed and your deposit is paid, we schedule your one-hour planning call and work through your vision, guest count, budget, and priorities together.

Phase 1

Venue options

I cast a wide net across the region, then narrow it to the five strongest options for your logistical needs, aesthetic vision, guest count, and date range. Each one comes researched, ranked, and presented with honest pros and cons. We tour your top three together.

Phase 2

Vendor team

Ranked shortlists for your non-design vendors: photographer, caterer, bartenders, DJ, hotel room blocks, transportation, officiant, dessert, and hair and makeup. We interview up to three per category. You choose. I streamline the contracts, negotiations, and deposits, and track every due date so you are never caught off guard.

Phase 3

Your decor direction

Choose one of the eight decor collections, or we create a custom design together. Design is included either way. If you selected a collection at booking, this box is already checked.

Phase 4

Save the dates & wedding website

I build your wedding website. You provide the photos and the personal copy you want on it. Then it is time to notify your guests of your upcoming nuptials. You gather guest email addresses, and I take it from there. The digital invite collects RSVPs and meal selections and lets you send updates or reminders to everyone at once.

Phase 5

Design vendors

Florist, specialty rentals, signage, and anything else that shapes the look of the day, booked once your decor direction is locked in.

Ongoing

Logistics & communication

All vendor communication, timeline building, and production planning managed by me.

Wedding week

Final details

Confirmations sent, timeline distributed to every vendor. Rehearsal directed for Ceremony + Reception packages.

Wedding day

Your wedding day

Two coordinators onsite, up to 8 hours for Reception Only, up to 12 hours for Ceremony + Reception. You enjoy it. We take care of everything else.

Let’s plan your wedding.

Clear scope. Published pricing. A formula that works.
